How Sideline Helps

Everything you need to run your volleyball program — from registration to game day.

Volleyball-Specific Registration

Registration forms with fields for position, height, jersey size, and experience level, adjustable from your settings to match how your club runs.

Club Dues and Tournament Fees

Collect season dues at registration through Stripe. Send invoices for tournament entries, uniforms, or travel costs. Track who has paid from your dashboard.

Age-Group Rosters

Run 12s through 18s from one organization dashboard. Each team gets its own registration link, and approved players land on the right roster automatically.

Youth and Adult Modes

Youth mode for juniors clubs where parents register players. Adult mode for leagues and rec teams where players register and pay for themselves.

Volleyball Clubs Juggle More Seasons Than Most

A volleyball club rarely runs one season. Juniors clubs run a club season that stretches from tryouts in the summer or late fall through national qualifiers in the spring. School coaches run camps and clinics in the gaps. Adult players want leagues year-round. Each of those has its own registration window, its own fees, and its own roster, and most clubs manage all of it with a patchwork of forms, group texts, and a treasurer's spreadsheet.

That patchwork breaks in predictable ways. A family registers for 14s but pays the 12s fee. A jersey order goes out missing three sizes. Someone plays half the club season before anyone notices the second dues installment never arrived. None of it is anyone's fault, and all of it costs volunteer hours the club does not have.

Sideline puts every team, every registration, and every payment in one place. You create a team per age group or league, share each team's registration link, and players land on the right roster with their position, size, and payment status attached.

How Volleyball Registration Works

When you create a volleyball organization, Sideline builds a registration form with the fields that matter for your sport. Players or parents select a position, note height and jersey size, and record experience level. You can add, remove, or reorder any field from your settings, so if your club also tracks club history, approach jump, or a preferred number, you add it once and it appears for everyone.

Each team gets its own registration link. A juniors club can run separate links for 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s so families always land on the right team and the right fee. For tryout-based clubs, point players at a tryout registration first, then move accepted players into the paid team registration once offers go out. Adult leagues can open one link per team or division and let players sign up straight through.

For juniors programs, youth mode keeps a parent or guardian on every registration, so the adult paying and signing the waiver is always on record, and a family with two players in the club registers both without starting over. For adult leagues, players handle the whole thing themselves from their phone: form, waiver, payment, done.

Dues, Tournament Fees, and Uniform Money

Club volleyball is expensive to run, and the fees rarely arrive all at once. There are season dues, tournament entry fees through the season, uniform and warm-up orders, and sometimes travel costs for qualifiers.

Sideline collects the registration fee at sign-up through Stripe, so joining the club and paying for it are one step. Everything after that runs through invoices: bill a whole team for a tournament entry, collect a uniform deposit, or charge a one-off travel cost. Families pay online with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and your dashboard shows who has paid and who still owes on every charge, per player.

Money goes directly from the payer to your club bank account through your connected Stripe account. Sideline never holds your funds. Processing runs 2.9% plus 30 cents through Stripe with a small platform fee on top, and the platform fee drops as you grow into paid plans.

One Dashboard From 12s to Adult Leagues

Every approved registration lands on its team roster the moment you accept it. Filter your organization by team or age group, see who plays where, and pull jersey sizes for the whole club when the uniform order is due instead of chasing fifteen families the week before it ships.

Every coach gets a login scoped to their own team: roster, registrations, calendar, and communications. Your 16s coach sees the 16s, not the whole club, which keeps player contact details and medical information in front of only the people who need them. Club directors see everything from the organization dashboard.

If your club also runs an adult league or open gym nights, you do not need a second tool. Adult mode runs alongside your juniors program in the same organization, with players registering themselves. One club, one dashboard, every season.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run multiple age groups from one account?

Yes. Create a team for each age group, like 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s, and each gets its own registration link and roster. You see every team from one organization dashboard, and coaches see only their own team.

Does registration capture positions and jersey sizes?

Yes. Volleyball organizations start with fields for position, height, jersey size, and experience level built into the registration form, and you can add, remove, or reorder fields from your admin settings.

How do I collect tournament fees during the season?

Send an invoice. You can bill an entire team for a tournament entry or charge individual families for uniforms, travel, or other one-off costs. Payments run through Stripe and your dashboard tracks who has paid on each charge.

Can I run tryouts before collecting club dues?

Yes. Set up a tryout registration first, then move accepted players into the paid team registration once rosters are set. Dues are collected when players complete the team registration.

Does Sideline work for adult volleyball leagues too?

Yes. Adult mode lets players register and pay for themselves with no parent step, so you can run a juniors club and an adult league from the same organization.

Is the free plan enough for a small volleyball club?

For many small clubs, yes. The free Starter plan includes 3 teams and up to 75 players with online registration, payment collection, waivers, and coach dashboards, with no credit card required. The Club plan is $29/month for up to 15 teams and Pro is $79/month for up to 50 teams.
